Oyin is going to Oyo town to visit her grandparents. 
Oyin and her parents drive out of Lagos. they stop to buy delicious snacks at Moniya and Fiditi. An old man and an old woman are waiting on the verandah. Oyin takes one look at them and hides behind her mother’s skirt. Her grandparents have ilá on their faces. So do the children at the stream. So do a lot of people in Oyo town.
