Dunoma lives in a village in Borno State, where his father works hard to protect the community. When rumours spread that the dreaded Book harmers are close by, the children are hidden deep in the forest. The next morning, Dunoma’s whole world changes when all the children are taken far from home to Alafia Camp.
Life at the camp is unfamiliar and sometimes scary. Then one night, Dunoma hears strange noises outside in the dark. Is it suspicious activity? Dunoma must decide whether he is brave enough to investigate.
