A Trip to Kano is a children’s story that focuses on a girl, who because of her father’s transfer to another city begins to feel sad and detached from her peers and other activities. Her mother, Mama, noticing this decides to take her on a trip to Kano to see her father. While on the trip, she learns a lot of things from her mother’s work as a development worker and basic education advocate.
