Seyi Akinwumi is a professional Nigerian artist whose creative passion fueled her transition from the private sector into studio practice.
Her works present landscapes, human activities in colourful and plausible forms. Viewing her art as a form of storytelling, she captures what is physically unique in her subjects as well as their underlying emotions. At the same time leaving a portion of the painting that is clearly lucid or mysterious. As an artist, she strongly believes that her style is constantly evolving.
Akinwumi resides and works in Lagos.

A graduate of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo state. A multi-dimensional, figurative and abstract expressionist, exploring contemporary and modern art. Dennis experiments dynamically with vibrant media such as watercolour, acrylics, oils and charcoal, to create aesthetically fascinating works, whose central composition features the human body.
Inspired by studying live models, his results reveal a fascination with humans (especially their moods and feelings) as a central concept of creation and a means through which he seeks to convey symbolic and representational messages to humanity and society.
He is a full time practising studio artist based in Lagos.
